In this thesis general description of ultra and infra-sound are provided. Also, natural and artificial (e.g. special devices) ways of receiving them. There are described also these special devices and scientific areas where ultra and infra-sounds are used, like: medicine, geology, meteorology, navigation etc. Thesis also touches examples, as - the procedures of discovering defects (cracks) using infra-sounds to avoid certain disasters, and curing the illnesses with the effort of ultra and infra-sounds.
