In this paper we propose a hypothesis, that dark matter is in fact a scalar field with two main parameters, mass and self-interaction. Dark Matter can be described as a Bose-Einstein Condensate of ultralight particles, behaving as a single coherent wave. We consider the importance of self-interaction and we work mainly with Gross-Pitaewskii equation.
