Author: Nino Giorgadze
Keywords: chlorides, turbidimetric methode, photometric methode, mercury (II) dyphenylcarbazone
Annotation:

Determination of the number of micro and ultra-micro chlorides under the classical volume methods in the natural objects in the complicated and long lasted process. Our aim was to study the ability of determination of chlorides in the natural objects (waters, soil, foodproducts, coaletc) under photometric methods. For this aim we have selected turbidimetric (analyze form AgCl) and photometric(reagent mercury-diphenylcarbazone)methods. In order to obtain the repetitive results and sensitivity of the methods we have studied impact of acidity of the solution, reagents and quantity of ethanol on optical density of mercury chloride and mercury-diphenylcarbazone,as well as its durability in time.Taking into consideration the obtained results, the selected versions of photometric determination of chlorides is 50-100 times sensitive than micro mercurimetric method. The results obtained under the method of parallel determination, adjunct and analyze of standard samples showed that the relative error of photometric methods of determination of micro number chlorides in natural objects is less 5%.Average,standard relative errors are in the permissible limits.
