Influence of long-term pshycho-social stress on quantity of some biologicaly active compaunds
Author: Shalva LekiashviliAnnotation:
The quantitative changes of catecholamines(noradrenaline, adrenaline and dopamine) during chronic stress caused by prolonged social isolation anddisrupted natural circadian rhythm in the hippocampus and blood have been studied. According to the given experimental data, it is assumed that the different structures of the brain differentlyidentify and perceive vide range of stress-factors. Subsequently, their answer is likewise diverse and is also expressed in numerous contradictory statistic changes of catecholaminesin the brain, in particular in hypocampus and blood under influence of various types of stress. At the same time, the quantitative content of catecholamines is affected by oxidative processes developed under long chronic stress conditions.
